On 8/25/11 paul_vroug asked, “Is there a binary file that could let me restore the SiBL, u-Boot, Kernel Image, Splash Screen, etc. I have modified the NAND flash and I want to restore it with factory values. I want to have the demo program again.

Please could somebody help me? Has anyone made a restore of the DK-57TS-LPC3250 kit?”

I have posted the factory binaries on our website, these images are for units with Rev 2 CARRIER board.

You will need the SEGGER tools and a terminal emulator, such as HyperTerminal.

1. Connect the SEGGER J-Link, RS232 cable, and open the terminal emulator on the PC.
2. Power on the unit and stop hit from booting into Linux.
3. Run the JLINK script file, 1_segger_bl_notest.jlink. (You may have to associate this file with the right exe such as “”C:\Program Files\SEGGER\JLinkARM_V426b\JLink.exe””. 426 will change depending on the version of the SEGGER tools.)
4. When the previous step finished run 2_seggar_ub.jlink and halt before Linux boots.
5. Send the content of the text file 3_u_uboot.txt. ( in HyperTerminal click Transfer then Send Text file and navigate to the folder extracted from the above zip file.
6. Next reset the unit and halt before Linux boots.
7. Run the file 4_seggar_linux.jlink.
8. When it finished send the text files 5_u_writelinux1.txt, 6_u_writelinux2.txt, 7_u_writelinux3.txt, 8_u_writelinux4.txt, and 9_u_setenv.txt.
9. Reset the unit and let it boot into Linux.
