On 9/13/11 jgehret asked, “I was looking at the uEZGUI7_EXP_SCH_1 schematic for the expansion board for the uEZGUI-2478-70WVE. CTS1 is connected to the write enable pins on U5 (SN75176A) for the RS485 port. CTS1 is an input from a modem to the 2478, is it not? Shouldn’t an inverted RTS1 be connected to the write enable pins on U5?
I’m actually rolling my own expansion board, but I wanted to make the uEZ software work correctly out of the box.”

The µEZGUI-EXP1 utilizes a full-duplex RX485 IC, PN SN65HVD35DR.
This device has two control inputs, RE# (low-true receive enable) and DE (high-true drive enable)
These two signals are connected to the MCU pins P0.17 & P0.22 respectively.
They are utilized in GPIO mode for control of the RS485 IC.
